Look look! It’s the new polaroid film stuff, which, you would think, is super exciting. And it is! To some extent, at least. It’s exciting whenever you take polaroids, just because the whole process is fun and the waiting and watching and all that. But some of that fun is lost when the final product is…whiteness, or not at all resembling the scene in front of which you find yourself.
I don’t mind this picture, really I don’t. But gosh, that is not what I was taking a picture of. I swear, the bottom half of her face was not different coloured than the top half. This film was so obviously not ready to be released, it’s ridiculous that it’s out there. Yeah, it’s fun in an artsy-unpredictable way, but it’d be nice if I had anything to do with the picture, as opposed to just waiting to see how the film happened to have reacted with the light. It feels a lot like they just rushed this batch out to relieve some pressure, but I don’t think this is going to help much. It just makes me miss colour.
It’s still pretty though right!
